The OSG College Scholarship Award is designed to provide financial assistance to high school seniors who have exhibited academic excellence, leadership potential, community involvement, and a strong commitment to pursuing higher education. It is an annual, merit-based scholarship that aims to alleviate the financial burden associated with college expenses. Two (2) Scholarship Recipients will be awarded $5,000 each to be used for tuition, room and board, and other college-related expenses.
The Phyllis Adelia McKesey Scholarship Award is a financial assistance program designed to support aspiring school leaders and promote the importance of education. The award offers funding opportunities for mothers from stated ethnic backgrounds who identify as African American, Hispanic, Latin American, or Native American and aim to pursue a Master of Arts degree in Education or Art Education through the Summer Principals Academy at Teachers College, Columbia University in New York.
Aisha Lubin is an accomplished educator with a strong background in childhood education and a passion for leadership in the field. She is currently advancing her education with a Master’s in Educational Leadership at Columbia University Teacher’s College. This follows her successful completion of a Master’s in Childhood Math Education at
Aisha Lubin is an accomplished educator with a strong background in childhood education and a passion for leadership in the field. She is currently advancing her education with a Master’s in Educational Leadership at Columbia University Teacher’s College. This follows her successful completion of a Master’s in Childhood Math Education at Brooklyn College, where she excelled with a notable GPA of 3.95. Additionally, she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Childhood Education, specializing in Psychology, from Brooklyn College, graduating with a commendable GPA of 3.72 and securing a place on the Dean's list on several occasions.
Since August 2017, Aisha has been a dedicated 4th and 5th Grade Team Leader & Teacher at Exceed Charter School in Brooklyn, NY. Her role involves developing critical-thinking lesson plans and improving student proficiency in math. From July 2020 to June 2022, she served as an Academic Manager/Director, leading grade teams and coaching teachers to enhance student outcomes. Aisha also gained valuable experience as a Principal Resident, supporting school leadership and instructional initiatives.
Her early career included a significant stint with Teach For America and roles at the YMCA and TJX Companies. Aisha has been actively involved in community service, notably with the Living Word Church of God in Christ and the Brooklyn College Haitian American Student Association. She is fluent in Haitian-Creole and has a basic knowledge of French and Spanish, along with proficiency in key office software.
Lauren Enoch, an accomplished Harry S Truman High School 2023 graduate, is now pursuing a Finance major at Washington University in St. Louis. In high school, she excelled academically, consistently making the Principal's List with a 90+ average. Lauren's extracurricular involvement was equally notable. She played key roles in Moot Court
Lauren Enoch, an accomplished Harry S Truman High School 2023 graduate, is now pursuing a Finance major at Washington University in St. Louis. In high school, she excelled academically, consistently making the Principal's List with a 90+ average. Lauren's extracurricular involvement was equally notable. She played key roles in Moot Court and Mock Trial, enhancing her analytical and public speaking skills, and actively participated in the Africa Club and International Moot Court, reflecting her interest in global affairs.
A dedicated member of the Student Government and the Gender Sexuality Alliance, Lauren showed a strong commitment to leadership and inclusivity. Her outstanding contributions earned her a place in the National Honors Society. At Washington University, Lauren is building upon her impressive high school achievements, indicating a promising future in her academic and professional pursuits.

Icema Castle, a dynamic 2023 graduate from Marymount School of New York, has shown remarkable leadership and dedication in her school activities. As President of Marymount Black Girls Rock for four years, she also served as Vice-President of the Joint School Service Association, dedicating significant time to both roles. Her commitment extended to the arts, being an active member of the Marymount Singers, Instrumental Ensemble, and Chamber Choir.
Additionally, Icema was a Peer-Assisted Leader, a Marymount School Ambassador, and involved in the GRACEful Leaders and Retreat Team. Outside school, she was part of the Ultimate Dance Academy Competition Team and led the Jack and Jill of America: Queens Chapter.
Recognized for her academic excellence with the College Board African American Recognition Award and a spot on the Academic Honor Roll - First, Icema is now pursuing a degree in Industrial and Labor Relations at Cornell University.
